In Friday, May 7, 1982 afternoon a dead body that was full of blood and cut into pieces was sent to the martyrs’ center of Ahvaz city.

Before putting the damaged body into the fridge, the authority of the center came near the body with a piece of white paper, a pin and a red marker to write the identity of the martyr on the piece of paper like always and to pin it to the body. He looked at the whole body.

The lower part of the face had been fully damaged and one foot and one hand of him had been cut off too. The stomach and chest had been crushed badly due to the explosion waves. He took his hand in order to search the id card of the martyr. The arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in a thick layer of blood was seen and it indicated that he belonged to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

He took out the side wallet and he found some money, the photo of a young woman and a one-year-old daughter inside the wallet in addition to a piece of newspaper on which the photo of an attractive guy was on that. He knew the owner of the photo; he was Seyed Mohammad Ali Jahan Ara, the commander of Khorramshahr corps who had been martyred seven months before that, so for most probably, the martyr was one of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

He searched the walled more carefully and he took out a small card of that which the arm of Jondi Shapour Ahvaz University was on that.

When he looked in front of the name and surname, he was so surprised. He was chocked in tears and he could not believe that. He had come there a few hours ago by a motorcycle in order to provide an ambulance for delivery of injured patients and since there were not drivers in the foundation, he himself became the driver of ambulance and he went there. He looked at the University Card which had been mixed with blood and tear drops and he hardly whispered: ‘Seyed Abdol Reza Musavi, the University Student Studying Medicine’

Musavi was martyred after you, so you should welcome him, in the Rezvan Mountain…

This Musavi who has been martyred after Mohammad is no one except Seyed Abdol Reza Musavi, the commander of Khorramshahr Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps who was appointed to this post after martyrdom of Mohammad Jahan Ara.

Martyr Commander Seyed Abdol Reza Musavi (1986-1982) was an excellent and elite student of University of Tehran and one of the activists in the conflicts of before and after revolution.

The first political- social activity of martyr Musavi after the victory of Islamic Revolution was taking part in a center consisting of fighting and Muslims persons of the city. According to his belief to the establishment work for the purpose of fighting against anti-revolutionary militants, during this time he accomplished a short period of time in the Abadan Conquest Center by holding Ideology and Interpretation of Nahj Classes. Eventually the constructional Jihad of Khorramshahr city was established. By the beginning of anti-revolutionary activities and its peak (Dark Wednesday of 1979), although Reza was not one of the persons who had led the activities, but he got involved in the conflicts and he believed that that the anti-revolutionary militants must be attacked badly militarily. After establishment of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Khorramshahr city, he started his work in the post of operation authority and he continued his activities in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps until October, 1979.

By the beginning of the Imposed War Era, Seyed Abdol Reza Musavi was present in the battlefields from the first day until the day that face to face conflicts would occur in the city. At this time through a television interview, he revealed the nature of Bani Sadr and his role in the fall of Khorramshahr. After the end of his term and returning to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, still due to the stagnation of battles, he decided to continue his activities for the purpose of transferring the revolution and reflecting that in the global expanded battle in one of the embassies of the Middle East zone. During three to four months he studied the liberal movements of the region, but since this period of time had been coincided with the intense activities of anti-revolutionary militants (by terror) and the fall of Bani Sadr and the stop of foreign ministry programs and on the other hand the need of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Khorramshahr city to new commander (after departure of commander Jahan Ara to the area 8), he had to return to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and in the post of commandership to rearrange the Corps. Eventually after 8 months of continuous activities in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps it was the turn of Khorramshahr liberation.

Regarding this issue it should be said that martyr Musavi arranged the Islamic Revolutionary Forces specially those dispatched forces of the brigade 22 Badr and he himself did not accept any official post. He had received a motorcycle and he would move in the frontiers to coordinate with the battalions that were in the frontiers. Due to continuous activities in the battlefields, he would not sleep so much during day and night and he would sleep only 3 to four hours per day and night. He had an active presence in most of the detections of enemy.

Eventually he was martyred on the birthday anniversary of his Excellency Ali (AS) on Friday, May 7, 1982. He was martyred when he had gone to the frontiers to visit the battalions and after taking an ambulance for some of the wounded persons due to heavy fires of enemy a cannon bullet hit near his car and he was martyred due to the quiver.

A part of his testament has been mentioned bellow:

Any martyr that is granted in this way and to arrive to the eternity, he will be a manifestation of the values that calls us towards himself. The only ways of happiness for us are the honest and sincere martyrdoms that are done only for God satisfaction.

My brothers: this is the nature of Imam Hussein (AS) uprising which stabilizes the evolves the revolution and what is origin is this content and quality; preserving this nature and making it flowing in your spirit and heart makes them sacred and honorable, the message of Imam Hussein (AS) is rejecting the devil and resistance against the wrong thing. You should always try to be away from the disunity which might occur among you and those army forces who are fighting against the enemy in the frontiers honestly and sincerely in order to prevent weakening the revolution battle.
