Martyr Najafi's Biography to be Published Soon

Navideshahed: Written by Saeid Alamian, the biography of Martyr Najafi Rastigar will be published soon by Shahed Publications.

Vahid Samavat in an interview with the reporter of Navideshahed announced this news and he said: “The biography book of Martyr Haj Kazem Najafi Rastegar, the Commander of the Army 10 of Seyed Al-Shohada is my new experience in the Sacred Defense field and it is expected this book to be released by January 2013.”?

The writer of the book ‘3300 Martyrs of Agricultural Jihad Organization’ added: “This book is in the form of memorial and biography and it consists of biography, photos and memories. This book describes more than 9 military operations dating back to the Sacred Defense Era under the commandership of Martyr Haj Kazem Najafi Rastegar.”?

Vahdi Samavat who has experienced researches in the cinema films related to the Sacred Defense continued: “The book is the result of interviews with the comrades of martyr and martyr Haj Kazem Najafi Rastegar and interviews with more than 30 commanders of brigade and Army including the war veterans of the Army ‘Seyed Al-Shohada’. Commander Mohsen Rezaei, Commander Mohsen Sohani, commander Farrokh Zadeh…are some of the persons who are in the list of interviewed men.”?

This reporter and writer of the Press of the Sacred Defense Era pointed to this issue that this book will be compiled in 400 pages and he said: “Saeed Alamiyan, the secretary of Sacred Defense Assembly is the compiler of the book. Gathering the information and documented contents has been done a few times ago and now this book is passing its edition phase.”?

Vahid Samavat also notified: “The book ‘Martyr Reporters’ comprises the memorial, wills and memories of 65 martyr reporters from the beginning of the eight year Sacred Defense in the years 1980 up to the martyrs of C130 pale that will be released soon in November 2012.”?

This researcher of the Sacred Defense added: “This book is being compiled by me and Mustafa Rahimi, one of the members of the Sacred Defense Reporters Assembly and writers of the Sacred Defense press in 400 pages. Of course the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs of Tehran city and reporters Assembly and the press writers of the Sacred Defense Era collaborate with us in this field.”?

It should be noted that Martyr Haj Kazem Najafi Rastegar was born in 1960 in the religious city of Rei. He went to school at the age of 7 and despite of the difficulties of life, he continued his education up to the third year of Guidance school, but after that he was not able to continue his education. He entered the revolutionary conflicts and protests. He who had started the adolescence era with the whispers of Imam Khomeini’s school, during the initial days of the Islamic Revolution, when the conflicts started in Kurdistan and the anti-revolutionary militants started their fighting against the revolution; he went to Kurdistan along with the forces of Dr. Chamran. He learnt the guerilla trainings there. Since he had been educated and trained by some great characters like martyr Dr. Chamran and Haj Ahmad Motevaseliyan, after return, he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tohid garrison and after a while he went to Firooz Kuh city and he held the classes of religious percepts and military affairs for the youths and teenagers. He was appointed as the commander of one of the battalions of Rasul Allah (PBUH) brigades. At that time this brigade would be commanded by Ahmad Motevaseliyan and after six months of activities, he accepted the authority of Operation Unit in Tohid garrison and he stayed in this post until the beginning of the war. At this time, Haj Kazem within a mission was sent to south Lebanon in order to empower and train the Hezbollah forces. He went there and he continued his work as a commander of battalion. He accepted the responsibility of many of the military operations and he struggled so much in order to free the Lebanese Shiites.”?

His return to Iran was coincided with the establishment of the second brigade of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and this brigade was named ‘Seyed Al-Shohada’. He was appointed as the commander of this brigade with the collaboration and cooperation of some of his comrades and friends. He got married in 1982 with a pious and religious girl and after a few days he went to the battlefields. Martyr Rastegar who had searched God during all of his lifetime, eventually he was martyred during the military operation ‘Badr’ on March 15, 1985 at the time of noon calling for prayer in east Dejleh war zone (Area of Hoor Al-Howeizeh). During this operation he was detecting the war zones along with some of the commanders of the brigade ‘Seyed Al-Shohada’, but it was his destiny to reach is long term ambition which was martyrdom. It seemed that Haj Kazem, the commander of the Army Seyed Al-Shohada visited his lord. His body was returned to country after 13 years passing from his martyrdom. It had been cut into several pieces, the same as the body of his lord and it was buried in the pubic cemetery of Tehran city, piece 24.
