The Memory of Launching the First Missile by Martyr Tehrani Moghadam

I got acquainted and friends with IRGC Major General Hassan Tehrani Moghadam who, indeed, deserved martyrdom from the very beginning of war. I got familiar with him from the beginning of the war. I only observed honesty, servitude and reliance to God, self-confidence, strong belief in God and fully belief to the Islamic Guardianship which was firstly manifested in the being of Imam Khomeini and today it exists in the being of the supreme leader. This respectful martyr most of the times would repeat the name of God and innocent Imams.

The Missile Unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps was established by his cooperation. When the unit was established, the first missile was shot towards Baghdad by the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. So I and martyr Tehrani Moghadam went towards Kermanshah province. We prepared the ground to shoot the first missile. We targeted the Iraqi Officer’s Club located in Baghdad. Martyr Tehrani Moghadam recommended that we should firstly recite Tavasol prayer and then shoot the first missile. So we expressed the prayer and then he started talking with God in Persian Language and he said: “Dear God, we don’t want to kill the ordinary people from Iraq, we want to kill the military ones who kill both Iranians and Iraqis, and so dear God take this missile to the Iraqi Officers Club.”?

The missile was shot and all of us sat near the radio, after a few minutes the B.B.C radio announced that a missile had destroyed the Iraqi Officer’s Club and many of the Iraqi officers had been killed during the attack. I kissed the forehead of martyr Tehrani Moghadam and I said, this great targeting was a result of your honest and purity.
