The Anniversary of Martyr Mahmoud Saremi is being Held
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Coincident with the reporters’ day the 10th anniversary of the Martyred reporter, Martyr Mahmoud Saremi, will be held on 17th of Mordad(7th August,2008) this year.
On the basis of the Navideshahed News Base, this anniversary is being held by the City Councils of Boroujerd and with the presence of the local news reporters on 17th of Mordad (7th August,2008) this year.
Martyr Saremi was born in 1347 [1969] in Boroujerd and he was sent as the manager director of the IRNA in Kabul, Afghanistan, and took the responsibility of reporting news in this war – ridden country; he was killed on 17th of Mordad in 1997 by the Taliban group during the fall of Mazar Sharif along with some other diplomats.
